Simply beguiling is our open-weave, marquise black diamond puzzle ring with a 1.8mm to 2mm wide, custom-fit, shadow band.  It’s an elegant look for a woman with uncommon taste.

A genuine puzzle ring, styled after legendary Celtic knotwork rings, this ring comes apart and goes back together easily with the animated and video instructions we provide under the link below. Rarely will you find a diamond engagement ring that will provide such fun and fascination.

Your puzzle ring will be hand-woven, in contrast to the majority of puzzle rings which are cast from molds. Our brilliant puzzle ring artist will custom weave your engagement ring precisely for the stone that you select, its very shape and size, so your puzzle ring will be a true, one-off original. The included companion band will be created from a one-off, original, hand-created model so that it will be custom fit to your very puzzle ring.

The price on this page is for this ring with a AAA grade diamond between 0.58 and 0.72CT (0.50CT shown). We will get you the biggest and best diamond available in that range. Marquise black diamonds are often quite short and wide, but we usually look for longer and narrower; we will therefore aim to select the diamond that has the closest shape to the one shown. A smaller carat weight combined with a longer length is more desirable and more valuable, but black diamonds are tricky to find in any configuration, so we cannot promise exactly what the best available will be like. However, we will communicate with you about available black diamonds, so you will have a say in the one that will be set in your ring.

Certified black diamonds: Usually certified black diamonds are larger and at a higher price per carat. Please contact us if you would like us to locate and price this ring with a certified black diamond. (The certification process is expensive, so usually this process is reserved for larger diamonds that will command a premium price.)

Precious metal combination: The set is shown in 14K white gold. You may select 14K rose or yellow gold or platinum. If you prefer, you may select four colors of 14K gold with a white gold or yellow gold shadow band. Please note:  No matter what metal or metals you order, the “head” holding the diamond will be white gold or platinum.

Available in whole, half, and quarter sizes 3 – 10.5; other sizes upon request.
